Khatkar Kalan's Untold Story: A village Quest to Inspire a Nation

                                   

Indians have a particular place in their hearts for Khatkar Kalan, a tiny town located in Punjab. This is the early childhood summer house for the revolutionary liberation warrior Bhagat Singh. This ancestral house was build by the Bhagat Singh's Great grandfather in the 1850s. His grandfather used to take him and his brother to Khatkar kalan while he was young. Even though he didn't live in this house for too long his parents moved here after independence, but his father passed away on 1951 and his mother stayed here until her death on 1975.

The area is now a place of pilgrimage for people who respect Bhagat Singh's moral character. A monument erected in his honor serves as a reminder of his unshakable resolve. The monument allows visitors to pay their respects, explore, and learn about his life and accomplishments.

The people in the village who earn from the tourist are grateful to the history their ancestors where part of.
